My story
Hi everyone, my name is Buddy and I want to be your buddy! I am about 3 years old and a very sweet boy. I came to the Pet Pantry after being rescued by a kind man who is trying to help trap and neuter the cats in his area. I used to be an indoor cat until my former owners abandoned me when they moved. I've been living outside the past couple of years until I was trapped to be neutered by this gentleman. He fostered me and helped me become a healthy happy house cat again! While I'm not crazy about being picked up, I'm a very sweet boy who loves head and chin rubs. I really lean into you if you hit just the right spot! I also like to make biscuits when I am happy and sit on your lap if you allow. I am really beginning to get used to indoor living again. I do almost anything for a yummy treat and I even find time to play! My favorite toys are small toy mice and my goal in life to catch that pesky red dot! I am a special needs kitty because I tested positive for FIV. Basically my immune system isn't quite up to par and I need regular vet checks and bit more support than usual if I get injured or become ill. I can exist with other cats and got along with the other in my foster home quite well while I was there.  I am spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am available for adoption at the Pet Pantrys main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think I may be the purrfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at any of our adoption center locations as well as online at
