My story
Hi everyone, my name is Leo and I am almost 4 months old! I came to the Pet Pantry with my family after being found and cared for as a stray. Even though our caregivers loved us, we weren't able to stay, so they kept us safe until the Pet Pantry could help us find homes. I am a special needs kitty as I have a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia that causes me to lose control over my finer motor skills. So my new family needs to understand that I may be a bit messier than another cat would, but I have just as much love to give.   Here is what Dr. Fijalkowski had to say about my condition: Leo presented at 12 weeks with cerebellar hypoplasia. His mother is clinically normal as is his sibling. This disorder causes him to tremor and walk with an uncoordinated gate. He may require either a high sided or covered litter box with a low entry.  Bowls that are hard to spill may work best ( ceramic or flared stainless steel).  It is unlikely that his condition will resolve although they may improve as he grows. It is also possible that they may worsen with time.  Leo needs to be in a home with responsible children over 12 years of age.  He should live in a dog free household.   I am spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am available for adoption at the Pet Pantrys main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think I may be the purrfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at any of our adoption center locations as well as online at
